An independent surveyor has finished their survey for my company's employees' satisfaction. Their results have presented this afternoon. The results did not make me surprise. Though only 42% of employees responded to that survey, but (I think) it reflected in general, what have been said in corridor.
Based on the survey, employees admitted that their job's objective is clear, this is the strongest point. On the other side, they said that the management style is the weakest point, along with the famous compensation. (Only) 23% of employees satisfy with their compensation, compare with the result of competitors' company of 60%!
I could see from the face of the 'no1 man in my company' that he is not happy with the result. But, as far as I could translate from his behaviours, he didn't know how to deal with it. He feels that the management has not passed a good message to the employees. He said boldly that he really didn't know how to deal with this result in near future.
I do not and could not blame him. This is not something that has built overnight; it's been developed as company culture in years and been inherited trans-generation without enough attention has been put to improve this situation. Unfortunately, neither the present management.
Then, question to myself, “How could I do about it?”
